Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra 2017-2018 Season shows for younger audiences


The 2017-2018 Season at the Dewan Filharmonik Petronas concert hall, home of the MPO, has started and great shows are coming our way!

Book your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment and remember to check discounts for Subscribers (minimum 5 shows), MYKad/MYKid, Groups and Students. Below the Family Fun Day Series and a selection of other shows that might interest your child.


The Family Fun Day series are specially catered for children 4 years old and above: a light and entertaining way to introduce younger audiences to classical music that engages the whole family. The show lasts about 1 hour. Bring a sweater, as it can get a bit chilly in particular for the smaller kids, and enjoy!

Cirque de la Symphonie brings the circus to the conceert hall with the performance choreographed to classical masterpieces.

And a mustn’t miss for aspiring ballerinas aged 8 years and above is the the Ballet Festival: Tchaikovsky Spectacular and Khachaturian Spectacular
